It is with great emotion and enthusiasm that we announce an important milestone in our journey: Allegra is changing its name and becoming Alage.
Why this change?
Because every brand evolves, just like the dreams that inspire it.
Alage is the natural continuation of my story, both personal and professional.
The name Alage was born from the fusion of my first name, Allegra, and the word Ali, which means “wings” in Italian.
It is a symbolic way of expressing our desire to take flight while staying true to our roots. These wings are, of course, those of the bees, but also those of inspiration, creative freedom, and renewal.
But the name Alage resonates far beyond this personal origin. It is enriched with meaning across different languages and cultures:
🕊️ In Italian and Latin: Ali / Ala = “wings”
In both languages, the root evokes wings, symbols of freedom, movement, and protection.
A beautiful metaphor for the care we bring: delicate, light, deeply respectful of the skin and of life itself.
The wings are also those of the bees, messengers of nature, at the very heart of our universe.
💧 In French: an echo of “allège” (to lighten)
Phonetically, Alage recalls the verb “to lighten.”
Our formulas are designed to soothe, relieve, and lighten tired or overworked skin, without weighing it down — in a minimalist and caring approach.
⏳ In English: the presence of the word “age”
A subtle reference to time and to all stages of life.
At Alage, we don’t seek to erase the marks of time, but to support the skin in its natural evolution with safe, targeted actives.

This word suggests a quest for self, a form of inner exploration, in harmony with our care philosophy: to accompany you gently, towards greater balance and confidence.
Alage is therefore more than a new name: it is a new identity, a fresh breath.
